I'm still here

Wow I just realized that I haven't written in here for a long time and thought todays was a good time to do that.  Just wanted everyone to know that i am still here. There hasn’t been much going on here just the same old same old.  We had a little block party a couple of weeks ago which was fun and I got to meet two cool people.  One is into rock and roll and the other lady has a cute little dog named Gary who I hope I can see again soon.  Anyway I just wanted to wish everyone a Happy May Day and I don’t know about you but the weather here isn’t that bad as of yet.  I went for a walk and got a little hot and now I changed into pants instead of shorts this is crazy weather.  Let’s see I got a new Ipad and it is sweet. I got it a little late because stupid UPS didn’t deliver it to my house and the peopke they delivered to wasn’t home so in the meantime I was calling Apple and having them do this investigation to find out where in the hell it went and on Wed night the neigbor who got it bought it down here I think they were on vacation and that is why it was so long since i finally got it but I finally did geet and i am loving it.  I also joined Netflix and so far I love it I only had two dvd’s that skipped and I’m thinking that it was because they were old movies because the movie I just saw was a new one and it worked fine.  Let’s see so far I have seen What’s eating Gilbert Grape, Benny and Joon and the Time Traveler’s Wife which wasn’t all that good.  The other two movies were awesome and now I am waiting to get Lucas.  I have also been reading a lot too.  Well that’s all I can think of if I think of anything else I will put it on here.  I will promise I will try and keep this blog up to date more often.

WE ALL NEED A GOOD LAUGH ONCE A DAY....HERE IS YOURS FOR TODAY.......

A Florida senior citizen drove his brand new Corvette convertible out of the dealership.

Taking off down the road, he pushed it to 80 mph, enjoying the wind blowing through what little hair he had left.

"Amazing," he thought as he flew down I-95, pushing the pedal even more.
Looking in his rear view mirror, he saw a State Trooper, blue lights flashing and siren blaring.

He floored it to 100 mph, then 110, then 120.
Suddenly he thought, "What am I doing? I'm too old for this!" and pulled over to await the trooper's arrival.

Pulling in behind him, the trooper got out of his vehicle and walked up to the the Corvette.

He looked at his watch, then said, "Sir, my shift ends in 30 minutes. Today is Friday.

If you can give me a new reason for speeding--a reason I've never before heard-- I'll let you go."

The old gentleman paused then said:
"Three years ago, my wife ran off with a Florida State Trooper. I thought you were bringing her back." 
 
"Have a good day, sir," replied the trooper !
