Life is fragile
On Friday we went to sunset point to have a picnic and take some pictures which was a lot of fun. On the way home we passed an accident on 101 and a guy was laying on the side of the road with his head covered. He was dead. It made all of us realize just how important and fragile life is. This guy probably had a family, a job (if he was lucky), and friends. He was probably a father, grandfather, son, or nephew but now he won't be any of those things because God wanted to take him home with Him. I prayed for this guy's family and I also am going to start living life to the fullest. Don't get me wrong I am glad I have a job but to have seen something like this makes me realize that there are more important things than making money. Ever since that Friday I have been thinking just how fragile life is and then when I saw the Farrah Fawcett story that night it just emphasized what I was feeling even more. I know it sounds cliche but my life could end at any moment and ever since that Friday it has changed my life. It was a sobering experience seeing that guy laying dead on the road and then seeing the Farrah Fawcett story. My new favorite saying is "I don't know what the future holds but I do know who holds the future". Amen.
